True Type Font Warning
Hello folks, I hope some of you can help me. I've recently set up an Intermec PD4 printer on a Windows XP machine. The PC originally had an Intermec PD42 for small labels (which is still in use and working correctly) and a Zebra 105SL for larger labels, which worked correctly before it was replaced by the PD4. Everytime we try to print a label to the PD4, the label itself becomes distorted onscreen and a barcode like image will appear above each set of letters or numbers. We also sometimes get a 'True Type Font Warning' when we attempt to print (I've attached this below). I've un-installed and re-installed the drivers several times, but it hasn't made any difference. Does anyone have any suggestions?

EDIT: I've discovered that the standard font for a lot of our labels is Zebra Triumvirate, which seems to be unsupported on the Intermec (unsurprisingly!). The font with the barcode above it, that replaces this once we attempt to print the label out is either Intermec Font 1, Intermec Font 2 or Intermec Font 3. I assume that the best fix for this would be to just manually alter all of our labels to use a supported font?

Yes what you're running into is font substitution using a barcode font instead of just a regular text font. What you might want to do is consider instead of using printer fonts convert the information on the label into true-type fonts, that way the the fonts will work on either type of printer.
