New Printer Playing Up
Hello, my department just got a datamax m class printer, we already have one, works great and we're running bar tender, having no problems, with our old. But the new one we've been given is having problems printing, it prints everything too high and too much to the right, and doing so cuts off some of the writing. I'm printing the same files, we've changed nothing to them, and both printers are the same model. Is there anything i can change in bartender which will solve my problem, just to get around it? Ive attached pictures of what is happening. Any help would be really helpful, thx.

Follow the instructions in the printer's user manual to calibrate the printer's sensors.
In the "Print" dialog of BarTender click the "Document Properties" button and from the dialog that opens select the "Page Setup" tab and click the "Advanced Options" button. In the new dialog under the "Printing position" tab, make an adjustment to the "Vertical Offset" as needed.

Thx for the reply, sadly when i go "Advanced Options" we don't have "Printing position", we're running bartender 7.72, is that option some where else, and if so where is it? Thx

The "Advanced Options" is part of the printer driver dialog -- not BarTender.

Yes, this should be easily fixable using the driver settings of your printer to give your printer a "Top Adjustment" or a "Printing offset". The exact term changes depending on the printer.
