Set Printpause While Printing From Database
Hello,
We print labels from a database (text-file), but is there a way to pause the printer after finishing
each line of the file?
That gives us the time to tear-off.
We use Bartender Enterprise 9.4 SR1
Thanks in advance.

Hello RobG91,
Indeed you should be able to pause the print job after every database record if the printer supports this feature. To configure your label to get this done, open the "File>Page Setup..." dialog, access the "Media Handling" tab, change the "Action" to "Pause" and set the occurrence to "After Every Record".
*Also please note that you are not working with the latest release for your BarTender version (v9.4 SR3, build 2781), please download and install it from the below webpage:

Cheers.

Hello,
Sorry to jump in, what if the printer don't have the pause option, and we really need to do it.
could we have a print form on bartender that pauses and wait for user confirmation (button) to move to on to print the next record?
many thanks,

If the option isnt there or Print>Document Settings (Stock tab normally) and you are using a Seagull driver then it probably means that your printer does not include Pause Printing as a feature and so there is not a lot you can probably do. What printer are you using?
