Bartender Won't Show After Splash Screen

Windows 8.1

Bartender 10.1 sr4

 

When run bartender the splash screens shows then it disappears. The process is running in the background.

When I try to open the program using a label I get the same issue but an error popups saying "There was a problem sending the command to the program"

 

What do I do to make this program the most compatible with windows 7 8 and server 2012. All Bartender 10 versions and SR's I have had nothing but problems.

Slow, Freezing, Won't open.

 

I used 7.75 for years and never had any issues.

  Why does bartender get stuck on Registering BarTender components when reinstalling this software?

  What causes the error "There was a problem sending the command to the program" when opening a label directly from a folder location?
