Bartender 9.4 Very Slow To Open
Hello I have created label on one computer and when I try to open it on another computer, running the same version of Bartender, Bartender hangs and takes a long time 5+ minutes to open the file and any interaction with the file thereafter, save, print preview also takes a very long time. It is very difficult to work with.
Perhaps it has to do with the default printer. I think it is searching for the printer from the computer that the label was created on.
How do we tell bartender not to worry about the printer that it was created on so it opens within a reasonable amount of time?

Seems like I found the issue. I found that on the second computer there was a label printer entry that was old and no longer connected. Bartender tried to connect to that printer and was hanging when I opened my label.
Maybe the developers need to look at reducing the timeout for printer searching or better yet, don't automatically search for printers and have the user choose which one they want.

I figured I would sign up and post a solution to this problem. after troubleshooting what appeared to be a user profile issue I determined that the problem was a setting in the print driver.
You need to enable bidirectional communication. Goto Printer driver --> select Tools --> Driver Options --> Network Settings --> check Bidirectional Communication.
