Bartender Basic/ultralight?
I have a client who has a need for simple label design software. Variable data is supplied via user input with an exception of weight values added from a connected Mettler Toledo ID scale. Labels today are manually printet on demand with an Intermec Label Printer. Which is suitable Bartender version for this customer? Does BarTender Basic/UltraLight include scale integration functionality?
Best Regards Erik

In order to support the weigh scale they'll need the Automation edition or higher, otherwise the Basic edition would have sufficed. Follow the below link and search for the phrase "weighing scale" in the text of the page.

Thanks for answerIs it possible to use BarTender as layoutdesigner, preload .btw files or other format to an Intermec Printer (ex.PX4i) . Connect the scale directly to the Intermec and execute print outs from the Intermec display. The customer do not want a computer in print execution environment. So my question actually is, do you have a script/fingerprint engine for Intermec supporting scale values and BarTender layout files?/Erik0

We support the creation of Printer Code Templates (PCT), which are pretty much just marked-up print files. For your requirements you'll need to write a FingerPrint application and insert the PCT into it. More information on our PCT support can be found here: http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/label-software/whitepapers/Exporting-Printer-Code-Templates.pdf
