Bartender 10 Automationhangs When Opening A Label
I have one PC running Win7 64bit and Bartender 10 is happy on there but on a second PC, also running Win7 64bit Bartender, although it wil show the previews will not open a label. All that happens is the throbber goes round and round for ever. I have to resort to Task Manger to kill Bartender.

What is the exact build of BarTender v10.0? If not 2868 then I suggest you download and instal the latest service release:

Looks like it is 2867 so I'll try the version on the end of your link but it will take a while before I can report back.
Meanwhile, I don't see why the version I've already got should be happy on one Win 7 set up and not on the other. I would also add that I have seen this same issue (BarTender hangs when you select a label and then click open) when installed on XP. I got round that one by retiring the PC and replacing it with a Win 7 box, the one that currently is happy with BarTender.

Are you opening the document from a local or network folder? Are there many files in the folder or just a few? As a test, try opening a label from your local desktop where I presume you have few if any other files.
