Logging On Print Time

Hello,

 

I need to log some serialized data and print date & time, for every label, at the moment of print. I work with print and apply system and the moment of sending and moment of printing are quite different. 

 

How can I do it using BarTender Enterprise Automation 10.1?

 

Is it possible to catch some GPIO sygnals from the printer (Datamax A-Class Mark II)?

  You can log this information either to a text file or to the BarTender System Database (BTSDB) should you set one up on an SQL Server.  You can find this in BarTender via the "Administer>Log Setup" menu item.

   

  You should contact Datamax-O'Neil (http://www.datamax-oneil.com/) with regards to the question on the GPIO signals.
