Bartender Changing Windows Default Printer

I have had issue pop up on 2 Pc's I have recently installed Bartender and driver for a TSC-TTP-343C printer.

When I print a label it changes my TSC-TTP-343C to the default printer under the printers in Windows.

This causes headaches because I have a program on these machines that create crystal reports and crytal reports

generates the report based on the default printer setting in windows. naturally it makes a mess of these reports because it

thinks it is generating a report for a label instead of a 8.5 x 11 sheet for a normal printer.

This happens on a new Win 7 setup and a new Win 10 Setup.

I am running driver version 7.41. for the TSC-TTP-343C on both machines.

I have other machines running this same setup but have driver version 7.31 and they do not have this problem.

as I stop gap I was gonna roll the driver back but I cant find a previous driver , can anybody point me to an older driver
