If the printer prints in any way with the CPCL driver then the firmware of your printer is CPCL based.  ZPL and CPCL are completely different and not at all compatible.  Are you saying that all printed items print out of alignment all at the same amount relatively?  In which direction is the print offset?  Left, right, leading edge, trailing edge?

We can't use the Seagull QLN 420 CPCL drivers either with our Bartender format labels.  Everything prints with some kind of default font and things overlap.  It may be because we created our formats with Zebra fonts and all other Zebra printers use the ZPL driver?  We switched to Zebra's ZPL driver which works properly.  Why is there no Seagull ZPL driver for the QLN 420?

    Thanks,

    Russell

Which printer driver make and model did you create the original BarTender documents with, and was that using a Seagull printer driver or a driver produced by a different vendor?  Assuming a Seagull driver was in use, what was the version of that driver versus the version of driver you've tried for the QLn 420?

Question: If you create a new document from scratch using the Seagull printer driver for the QLn 420 do the text objects all print correctly?
