    I don't think you need a VB script in order to do this.

     

    You should be able to set up a database query that has user inputs for the two fields in question from your database and print the queried records.

    Thanks so much for this tip, you have saved me a ton of time. I just figured out how do it for one barcode, and now I just have to make the label itself look like our old version.

    I have a follow up question - after taking two user inputs, the barcode successfully shows the serial number of our product, taken from our database file. I've managed set it up in a way that it prints correctly one barcode per page. However, what I want is to have 24 barcodes on one piece of paper, essentially one of our containers per piece of paper.

     

    I talked to a guy in technical support at Seagull Scientific and he said BarTender version 10.1 has an option in page setup -> Page -> 'enable page templates' that would allow me to do this. We currently have version 10.0 and I'm hoping this isn't a functionality exclusive to version 10.1. Is there a way to do this on our older version, or will we have to look to VBscript?
