[ Character And Suppression Of Fields
It appears that the [ is not a valid character when looking to suppress a field. Any idea how I can suppress a field if another field contains the [ character?
Thank you,

Can you give some context here? Do you mean to suppress a previous data source or database field? What have you tried to do already and how? Assuming a data source, did you check the "Transforms" tab using the "Suppression" properties?

I am trying to to display a colored rectangle only when another field begins with the [ symbol. I have tried to use the conditional printing function to accomplish this with no luck. After testing with other alphanumeric characters I was able to get it to work. It appears that bartender cannot read the [ character.

Ultimately I would like to fill the database field with a specific color if the records begins with [. The separate rectangle was a work around.
