Adapting Gs1-128 Barcode: Ai 02 Should Have A Gtin14 => Parentheses Move

I'm designing a SSCC-label.
I use the GS1 Application Identifier Data Source Wizard.
It works fine, but the result is not completely satisfying.
When I choose AI 02, a GTIN13 is proposed.
When I change the min. and max. number of charachters afterwards to 14 (since we are using GTIN14), the changes are correctly previewed in the sample field,
but in the label the parentheses are no longer in the correct position.
Some of the carachters are also different.
E.g.
(02)5400351000001(37)1(15)150427 becomes
(02)05400351000004(13)711515(04)27
Is there an option to chose a GTIN14 in the wizard?
If not what is the best way the change the format afterwards?

Anyway it should be a good a idea to add the functionality to choose between an AI 02 GTIN13 or GTIN14 in the wizard...

This has been replied to over email.
Basically, the GTIN number has a check digit at the end, and this check digit is automatically calculated by BarTender in order to avoid incorrect GTIN numbers to be encoded in an GS1-128 bar code.
