Data Matrix Barcode - Wrapping Human Readable Characters
I have a data matrix barcode on my template. I'm trying to wrap the human readable characters.
Here is my example barcode:
(01) 1 0314141 99999 2 (17) 151231 (10) ABCDEF123456 (21) 35722388370ABCDE
It'd like it to look like this under the barcode:
(01) 1 0314141 99999 2
(17) 151231
(10) ABCDEF123456
(21) 35722388370ABCDE
I'm using BarTender 10.0 SR1

Hello Xodus,
*First please note that you are not working with the latest release for your BarTender version (v10.0 SR4, build 2868), please download and install it from the below webpage:
http://www.seagullscientific.com/label-software/fixes_100.aspx
On v10.0 the only way of getting this done is to remove the visibility of the human readable text, and instead create a new text object that sources the data from the different data sources inside the barcode. this way you could add a "carriage return" between each Application identifier (in an extra data source).
In v10.1 we added this feature as part of the barcode properties: you would only need to access the "Text format" node from the barcode's properties dialog and activate the "Line break after each application identifier" option.
Best regards.

Hi, I am not seeing the "Line break after each application identifier" option. I just upgraded to SR4
1. I click on the BarCode button > GS1 (by application) > Health Care > Non-Retail > Largest > GS1 DataMatrix (01)(17)(10)(21),19.5 mils
2. Place the barcode. Right click > properties.
3. I'm not seeing the option anywhere?

If you are working with v10.1 (note that this is a mayor version change from your v10.0, so you would need to purchase a license upgrade after the 30 days trial) that option is in the "Human Readable" node inside the barcode properties dialog (sorry I mentioned the wrong node before).

Oh, sorry about that. I misread. Thanks for the help!

I just started using 10.1. is the answer to the above question for text wrapping on 10.0 the same for 10.1
I need to stack human readable text the same way.

Disregard my first question, the answer is above.
