Barcode Width Issue

Hi all,

 

I prepared all my barcode to print, I'm using the code 128, my product names use text, space and numbers and have all different size (it's actually shoe model name / space / size) see exemples attached below

 

My question is how can I get the barcode width to be the same ? Because the length of the text is always different so where I can fix the witdh of the barcode ?

 

This is how it looks before printing : (I add the red lines to show the width difference)

FYI, I'm using BarTender Automation single user 10.0 SR4

  Hello remibkk,

   

  Barcodes change size depending on how much information is being encoded and what type of symbology is in use. On BarTender v10.1 we added a feature that allows you to "auto-size" the barcode so it maintains the closest possible width to the one specified (it basically automatically adapts the X dimension to try adjusting the barcode size).

   

  Unfortunately on v10.0 this feature was still not implemented, instead you could use a different symbology, for instance a 2D barcode such as Data Matrix or QR Code will allow you to maintain a constant size for different data lengths.
