Suppressing Unused Barcodes Still Visible
I have a 8 barcodes, that have embedded data in them, on a label. If my data only provides information for 3 Barcodes then I'd like the other 5 to not appear. I've set the Suppression to "Suppress when previous data source is empty" but no luck. The other text fields that match up respectively to these barcodes have the same suppression rule in place and works fine.
Am I overlooking something?

What is printing on them if there is no data? Just a start and stop character of the barcode?

When data is present for printing the barcode gets filled out with the relevant data and grow in width to accomodate it. When nothing is present the barcode is still there with no data at all. It's in that case that I want to suppress/not show those that barcode.

I was hoping the Suppress functionality would "remove" the excess barcodes if they weren't in use in the same way the other text fields are set up.

Try changing the "Print Method" of these barcodes from "Controlled by the printer" to "Controlled by BarTender"
See my attached screenshot for a description of this.

I don't seem to have that option available to me. The button is grayed out.

Ah. Okay. What printer are you using? Do you know if your printer has a Seagull Driver released? If not, that may be the overall issue.
