Upgrade To Windows 7 Gives The Following Error
Attached is a picture of the error. The customer is using Bartender 9 basic. Since installing the software on the new Windows 7 PC, opening an existing label gives the attached error. It did not occur on the Windows XP PC.
Any Ideas?

The message indicates that the BarTender document is using a feature that is not available in the Basic edition. If you say that it's otherwise then you'll need to attach the file for us to take a look at it. If you don't wish to show this for public view then email tech support for you region for help.

No worries. I'll get a the file and upload it. The weird thing of course is that the error did not occur before we replaced the PC with a Windows 7 PC. So what you need is the label file itself?

Not really able to comment on stuff I don't have all the facts on, but if I get the BarTender document itself I can at least tell you what it needs.

Two things to add:
1. BarTender 9.0 is not compatible with Windows 7. See http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/label-software/legacy-bartender.aspx for a list of compatible OS's. Be aware that odd behavior from an unsupported OS is possible, and there's really not anything we can do about it.
2. This error that you're experiencing means that there's something enabled that's not available in the Basic edition. If you go into Help>Trial Features and look under 'current format' you'll see what it is, and you can turn it off from in there.

Thank you Mike! I'll give that a go.

You might as well close this topic guys. The error has disappeared of it's own volition. Thanks for your help.
