Printing Barcode With Can Xc6
We are having trouble printing a barcode on a cab xc6 printer. Our printer is setup with two different color print ribbons; red and black. The printer is using a cab print driver. If I change the color of the barcode to red the barcode will print in red and if I change the color to blue it will print in black, but if I keep the color of the barcode as black the barcode does not print.
It was suggested by a Seagull representative to use the print method option to allow Bartender to control the barcode and the human readable portion of the barcode, but this option is not available when using the cab print driver.
Attempted to change the print driver to the Bartender driver and the barcode started to print with no changes to the label format, but the ability to print using the red print head stopped working. We are using the GHS demo format to print the GHS compliant labels and the diamonds stopped printing in red.
I think the problem has something to do with the print color and color of the background. If I overlay the barcode over a text field. The text field is printed with white stripes through the text.
reagrds,
John

What exact printer model are you working with?
With the CAB driver, could you try going to the "File>Print..." option and make sure that, under the "Object Print Method" tab, the barcodes are being treated as "Raster Graphics" (if not available change the treatment of the text objects to "Raster Graphics" too)?
Does this issue only happen when working with barcodes or do text objects get affected too?
Is the human readable part of the barcode not printing either?0
