Constant Number At The Beginning Of A Barcode

I am designing a label that requires a code 128 barcode which will be sourced from 2 different fields in an access database. However the first digit in the human readable needs to be a preset number being either a 0 or a 1 depending on which format I am using. Can anyone help on how to do this.

  Hi Kellie,
  In BarTender 10.0, You can add a new datasource as Embedded data. (as screenshot)
  
  In BarTender 9.4 or before, in Datasource tab, click [Advanced>>] to show advanced datasource dialog,
  then add new substring from [New] button at the left bottom of substring list.
