Greetings All:

Just ran into a re-occuring/reproducable problem when saving a bartender template, ver 9.2 SR2.
When you hit save, Error #3605 pops up on screen. Sometimes you can save your template before bartender locks up, sometimes you cant.

At first I thought it was a corrupt template file. So I made a brand new one. Same problem.
Then I thought it was a font problem, so I switched to plain jane arial. No effect. Same problem.
Called tech support - but am still waiting for a response.

Another symptom is when you look at the visual preview of the template either in bartender or print station, intermittent / random asian characters replace the actual fonts I am using.

Up until this point, this workstation/bartender install has been running near-flawlessly, so am confused as to what has occured.
This problem literally appeared overnight...

Background:
Template is prompt at print time and is not connected to any data source.
Printer is a Toshiba Enterprise class colour photo copier/printer 2330C
Using Windows 7 64bit, Bartender v9.2 Enterprise 3 printer license, sr2.

Our IT department change my laptop and everthing start to work properly with the same BarTender version, drivers, software, etc

Regards

Is there an actual remedy to this issue? We have a user who just had the same issue when trying to save a Barcode Label from Bartender Enterprise v7.75 via Windows 7 x64. Any ideas why this would happen?

In this situation, the simple answer is that BarTender 7.75 is not Windows 7 compatible, and as such, customers can experience errors or inconsistencies such as this when attempting to run it in an unsupported OS.

Please see our legacy software compatibility chart for a list of supported software versions per OS. As 7.75 is not a supported version, any inconsistencies or errors are outside the scope of technical support.

So to resolve this situation, you'd need to get that user to a supported version of the software.
