Modifying Data In Label Fields
Hi there,
I'm new to Bartender after deciding to switch over from Labelview. The interface is much better and uncluttered and seems to offer many more features.
One part has me stumped.
I can loop through the objects in a Format and read the values, but as they are read-only I cannot alter the values. This is quite different from Labelview which has read-write label objects.
There is plenty of stuff about altering named substrings, but I cannot find anything about creating a named substring anywhere in Bartender Help or in this forum.
I get the feeling that I am missing something really obvious. I'd really appreciate some help.

Not to worry,
I have finally found how to create a substring. After using Labelview, this seems to be a rather unnecessarily arduous process to create a read-write property. Is there a reason for this?
