For problems with the application had to uninstall

the application, I try to do a reinstall, I run the web

installer and have obtained the following message.


There is a problem With This Windows Installer package.

A program required for install to complete esta Could not be run. Contact

your support personnel or package vendor.

Action: UNREGISTER_BATCHMAKER, location: c: ... \ BatchMaker.exe, command: /unistall

  There seems to be some residual data from previous installations. Try removing BarTender completely following this procedure:

   

   

  Stop and Remove Services

   

  *If none of the services are installed jump to step #c

   

  a.     Stop all services installed by BarTender. This can be done from the command line as follows:

   

  sc stop "BarTender System Service"

  sc stop "Commander Service"

  sc stop "Seagull License Server"

  sc stop Maestro

   

  b.        Delete all services installed by BarTender.  This can be done from the command line as follows:

   

  sc delete "BarTender System Service"

  sc delete "Commander Service"

  sc delete "Seagull License Server"

  sc delete Maestro

   

  Installation Cleanup

   

  c.        After all services are removed, reboot the system.

   

  d.        Use the "Program Install and Uninstall Trouble Shooter" to remove the BarTender package. You can find it at http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

   

  e.        Manually remove the following folders:

            C:\Program Files (x86)\Seagull (or wherever you’ve installed BarTender)

            C:\ProgramData\Seagull

   

  f.        Remove the following registry keys:

            HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Seagull Scientific

            HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Seagull Scientific

            HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Seagull Scientific --> for 64 bit Windows Version

   

   

  g.        Also go to the below folder and clear out the contents of any previous install files just in case they were corrupted:

              C:\Users\<user account>\AppData\Local\Downloaded Installations

   

  h.        Reboot your system again.

   

  Reinstall

   

  At this point, you have not really removed all files and registry information used by BarTender, but you have removed everything that would prevent a reinstallation.
