Ctrl + D Shortcut Removed In 2016
Just wanted to point out that strangely the Ctrl+D shortcut to get to database connection setup has been removed for version 2016. Not sure it does anything else though? Maybe I was the only one to use it.

Yes, it was removed because it was not deemed something that people modify often enough to justify a shortcut. (It will eventually do something else, so we wanted to reclaim the key.)

You can re-add it by right-clicking on a toolbar and selecting Customize. On the Keyboard tab, scroll down and select Database Connection Setup. Click next to Press new shortcut key, then enter Ctrl-D. Click the Assign button, and you should be good to go.
