    Hello Mthomas,

     

    You could "log" the printed information back to a database through a VB script in your label. Attached you'll find a very simple example that uses a VB script to read and update a serial number from an Access database (I'm afraid I can't attached the actual database, but it's a very simple Access file named "serial.mdb" with only one field and record, see the attached image).

     

    In any case, please note that BarTender is able to log all printed information to our BarTender System Database (which is an SQL database instance), which can later be retrieved by our companion applications History Explorer and Reprint Console.

     

    Unfortunately you'll need the Automation edition of BarTender to use our system database.

    Hi,

    I am using Enterprise automation 10.1 sr4

    I am trying to use this example but database is serial.accdb

    But bartender returns this error "Functions and Subs(Line 12): : Unrecognized database format 'C:\Seagull\serial.accdb'  "
