BT is adding suffix I don't want to QR

BT is adding suffix I don't want to my QR label code.

The label pulls data from a Serial Number field, which pulls data from a table in a database. 

Example serial number: 413064

The QR code number becomes: 4130642
and the next one becomes: <another number>9

There is no rhyme or reason to it. I have check multiple times that there isn't any suffix, but for some reason it'll add a random number between 1-9 at the end.

What could be the reason for this?

  It sounds like it is adding a check digit to the string possibly. You may want to double check you are using a standard QR and not one of the other variants like the GS1-QR for example as that could effect things.

  Try adding a text field to the label that links to the same database field to make sure it is not something coming through from the database. 

  If not then add a new QR code and link just to that same field and see what that does.
