How to Set Up and Enable BarTender Hybrid Cloud
Overview
This article will teach you how to set up and enable BarTender Hybrid Cloud, a new feature available in BarTender 12 and BarTender Cloud.

Administration Console
Information
You must be using BarTender 12 and have Automation edition or above to access this feature. In addition, you will be unable to use Hybrid Cloud if your license is in the last month of its subscription period.
Start by opening Administration Console.
- Navigate to Licensing > BarTender Hybrid Cloud and click Enable BarTender Hybrid Cloud to begin.
- Click Next when the Hybrid Cloud Setup Assistant launches. Then, choose whether you want to use an Individual License or License Pool to activate Hybrid Cloud and click Next.
- Enter your BarTender Cloud Support Number (found in Administration > Settings > Global Settings in BarTender Cloud) and click Next.
- If you do not have a Cloud license, select No, I do not have an existing Cloud license, and a hybrid tenant will be created for you to use.
- This will trigger a BarTender Cloud sign-in prompt. Enter your Organization ID, then your Email and Password. Click Sign In.
- Once sign-in is successful, click Finish to close the Assistant.
Your BarTender and BarTender Cloud licenses are now linked. Click Access Hybrid Cloud in the upper right-hand corner to start using Hybrid Cloud.
Additional Information
Local Printers Becomes Edge Printers
When using the Print Console, the group where your current workstation's printers are listed (Local Printers) will be renamed Edge Printers when you connect to Hybrid Cloud.
The functionality of the printer group remains the same. Only the name is changed.
