Bartender 2019 R5 - VB Scripting Pre Requisites
Hi,
I am working on Bartender 2019 R5.
I have added a VB Script code on Bartender for the events - "OnNewRecord" and "OnPrintJobEnd". It works completely fine on my desktop. However, if this runs on another workstation with same Bartender version, will it need any pre-requisites, or any setup or installation?
Any suggestion will be helpful.

No the VB should commands should be embedded into the label/document itself.
What I would suggest however is upgrade your version of Bartender from R5 to R10 for 2019 to install any bug fixes etc. This is especially important if you installed 2019 over 2016 as there is a potential malware vulnerability that 2019 R7 fixed.

Not sure if I understood your first sentence "No the VB should commands.."
Would like to inform that the VB Script logic is added in the Bartender document itself.
Also, we cannot upgrade to higher version as the client is not in the favor of upgrading it to higher versions as of now for the current go-live.

Hello, Could you let me know if the VB code will work with same OS and Bartender version as it is now.

Any VB routines that are created in the label are saved in that label format and so if it is opened on a new PC running BarTender then they should work correctly on that PC too.
The only times you could encounter an issue is if they reference a Database or other external file and that file is not in present or in the same location or if the database connection has not been configured on the PC.
