Special Characters in GS1 Data Matrix Won't Show up (°, Ø) Including Empty Space
One of my Barcode information is this " 17° Ø 5.0 mm H:1.5/3.1 " . but the special character " Ø and ° " won't show up when i scan it. It show up like this.
My data type is text , and Charcter filter is ISO 646 Invariant only. When i change the Chacter filter to "ALL" the barcode gives error.

Now another thing. When ı create GS1 Data Matrix , as deafult character filter came as "ISO 646 Invariant only". That doesnt allow me to enter empty space between words. Thats why ı change it to "ALL" , but when i do that this time some special characters , like above, gives error. What should i do ?
Also my other question is is there a rule that Gs1 Data matrix has to be limit by 30 character ?

Hi Tolga,
Welcome to the BarTender Community Forums.
The GS1 Data Matrix's symbology supports the ASCII characters that are described in ISO/IEC 646 Information technology - ISO 7-bit coded character set for information interchange. Taking a quick look at the list of supported characters, Ø and ° are missing from the list.
Having said that, if your barcode specifications allow for it, we would suggest using the regular Data Matrix barcode, as this one does support the two special characters. You can find this barcode under the barcode list:
You can learn more about the GS1 Data Matrix in the following article.
