Filter with Named Data Source

Is there a way to use a Named Data Source in a Database Connection Filter other than using a QueryPrompt?

or a different way to match a Named Data Source value in Column 1 and return the value in Column 2 of a simple CSV.

  You could use a Record Picker instead rather than a Query Prompt or for a simple CSV link it to a Dropdown list on your Data Entry Form
