Writing the Printed data into a Text File
Hi,
I am trying to get the printed data into a text file. If I have multiple lines in my data file, the user will always select one or few records out of all. In this case, how do I know which records are selected by the user.
Am using the Bartender Process Builder to create the events. However, haven't yet got any solution. Referring to the older posts, I see the solutions are mostly based on VB Script.
Note: Am using Bartender 2019 Automation Version.
Any suggestions?

You could try enabling logging the print job info to a text file via the Administer > Log Setup option in Designer

Thanks Pete. I have tried that option. But it doesn't give the exact replica of the data file format.

You should be able to configure to add the fields you have printed as required, but I believe the order maybe set by the order the fields were added to the label

Thank You, I made use of VB scripting in bartender. Does the VB scripting within Bartender work on all Windows platforms?

I have not come across it when it hasn't although on certain platforms you may need to make sure the user has enough permissions to write/create data in the folder where you are recording the information

Do you mean if the user printing the label has enough permissions to access the data, then the VB code behind the events will run correctly in Windows platforms like XP, and Windows 10?
