No popup database connection window

When on my laptop and  I select the database connection wizard the window does not appear.

It must be appearing but not visible as I get an error tone back from my laptop when I try to click anywhere. If I hit Esc the error tone stops and I can access the label template. 

I have tried connecting a secondary monitor and adjusting its position when extending the desktop but still no window.

I have tried rebooting my pc and restarting the bartender application still no joy.

The only way it at present I can only make the window appear with 2 external monitors connected.

 

Cn anyone help or advise at all

  Hi Lee, thank you for your post. 
  
  It seems the database setting dialog is not popping on the main monitor.
  
  Could you try the following three workarounds?
  a. How to force applications to open on primary monitor in Windows 10 : https://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-force-applications-to-open-on-primary-monitor-in-windows-10
  
  b. How can I move an application to another monitor :
  Open the database connection and press Windows+SHIFT+→ or: Windows+SHIFT+←
  
  c. How can I move a dialog/window using just the keyboard :

  1. Hold down the ALT key.
  2. Press SPACEBAR.
  3. Press M (Move).
  4. A 4-headed arrow will appear. When it does, use your arrow keys to move the outline of the window.
  5. When you are happy with its position, press ENTER.
