I am experiencing an issue while installing BarTender Software, where the installation process is being blocked by Windows Antivirus / Windows Defender.
During the installation, Windows flags and blocks certain BarTender components, preventing the setup from completing successfully.
Could you please advise on the following:
1. Windows Antivirus Blocking
- Is this a known issue with BarTender installers?
- Which files, services, or folders should be officially whitelisted in Windows Defender to allow a secure installation?
- Are there recommended installation settings, certificates, or installer versions to prevent antivirus conflicts?
2. BarTender Integration with Laravel (PHP)
I am also looking for best practices to integrate BarTender with a Laravel-based website.
- The website architecture is similar to: real estate site
- The goal is to trigger label printing from the Laravel backend (e.g., after form submission or order processing).
- I am considering BarTender options such as:
- BarTender REST API
- BarTender Automation
- BarTender Commander

Regarding the first point with the installation issue, could you please clarify which are the BarTender components being blocked? Is there any chance that the Antivirus can be temporally blocked?
