Cannot Print to Shared Printer in BarTender 11.8 (Test Page Works But No Print Job Sent)

My name is Phong, from Canon Viet Nam.
We recently upgraded to BarTender 11.8 and encountered an issue related to printing through a shared printer.
Issue Description
- We are using a shared printer on Machine A.
- A Japanese application on Machine B calls BarTender to print labels.
- With the older BarTender version, printing worked normally.

After upgrading to BarTender 11.8, no print job is sent to the shared printer, even though:
- BarTender can see the shared printer
- Windows Test Page prints successfully
- No error message appears in BarTender or the external application
This problem only occurs with BarTender 11.8.

- BarTender Version: 11.8
Request
Please help us confirm whether BarTender 11.8 has changes related to:
- Shared printer permissions
- Service account printing
- Driver compatibility
- Integration Service printing behavior
We purchased a new license and need to resolve this issue quickly, as it affects our production line.

If you upgraded from a version earlier than 2022 I suspect the issue could be permissions. The Integration will be using the rights of the “user” that is running the BarTender Print Scheduler Service which by default is the Local System account and that is unlikely to have permissions to access networked devices and locations. Try changing that user account in the Service and see what that does.
FYI printing from BarTender Designer uses the rights of the user logged into the PC/server rather than the service which is why you can get different results
