Input Mask - Odd behavior
We just recently upgraded from an old version (10) to latest 11.8 of bartender. Several of the label formats have input masks where we scan data into (from 2d code) and then use that to parse multiple fields. (unfortunately the formats we created just utilizing the transformation - removing # of characters before and after the specific data we are looking for vs. scripting and searching the input)
Issue we are having is that now the input mask is behaving differently and I cannot determine why. I would like to know if there is something simple that we are missing before having to update dozens of label formats.
What is happening is that on the scan, the entry is adding spaces (because the mask is expecting different character). Another gotcha - is if we scan into another program (notepad) copy / paste into the bartender input field we do not have the issue. based on what I can find - pasting data is different than the scan as all the data is compared to the mask at once vs. as each character upon entry in a scan. So typing data is essentially same as a scan.
Here is the Input Mask: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA#AAAAAAAAAAAAA/AA/AAAAAAAAAA;
Sample Data: P3580003M26900871J-3060SN3060D10/30/25SH3H0000Q8252
Output/Error: P3580003M26900871J-3060SN3060D10/__/3025SH3H00
Anything simple we are missing? Any other thoughts?

You may want to speak to Seagull's Technical Support team about this directly incase this is a bug of some kind.
If you alter the Input Mask and resave the file (use a different name so as not to effect your original, does that work. You coudl say replace the A with an a or a ?

Thanks for the feedback.
I will reach-out to support. Although I did find out that the formats were from version 6.2 - so sure a lot could have changed.
At this point necessity has driven to manually update several formats.
