Updating Excel database connection

Hi
I already used bartender 2016 and used an Excel file as a database for my labels. When I made a change in my excel file I could refresh the connection and immediately update my label without saving and closing Excel file. But in Bartender 2019 if my Excel file remains open, Error 6241 appears and says "the file is using with another user or program" and can't update immediately with Excel database changes.
Please help me because this limitation decreases my work speed and my labels are varied at any time.

  In my experience every time, going back through multiple versions of both BarTender and Excel, an Excel file has had to be both saved and closed before the labels could be printed and the same is true when trying to create a link/use the Database Connection Setup when creating the label.

  BarTender 2016 is subject to the same limitations placed on it by the ODBC drivers that 2019 is and that includes the number of connections that can be made to the spreadsheet and so I can not see how the system worked they way you said if you were connecting into Excel directly.

  But I can show you in any way you want to update labels in the Bartender 2016 without closing and saving the Excel file and this feature is limited in 2019.
