Reprint Console Problem
Hi,
We use Bartender 2016 R8.
We installed Reprint Console last Friday for the purpose of reprinting damaged serial number labels from one of the printing terminas. It worked fine then, but when we got back to work this Moday we get an error.
Details:
Unable to start BarTender print engine 1.; Inner Message: The BarTender engine could not be started.
Any idea what this could be?
It works on my laptop with the same version of Bartender 2016 installed.

Not sure but sounds like it could be a driver type issue. Can you print from within BarTender directly to the printer? Were you logged on or running as Admin when you printed on Friday in which case it could be a permissions issue?

Hi again,
Yes, printing from BarTender and Print Station works fine. I tried as Admin and Operator when it worked, and now it works for neither, so it's probably not a permission issue? I have tried re-intalling it, but it is still the same.

Sorry not sure Jonas, you may want to raise a log with your regional Tech Support team and see if they can help.
2016 R9 was also released a few days ago and so you could try upgrading to that first and see if that fixes it
