Data Matrix Code
Hi
I'm having trouble printing data matrix codes. The code is fine on the screen, fine when printed to a regular laser printer but once it's printed to an Intermec label print the code stops working. When I scan it on my phone it just says invalid, when I scan it with our Honeywell Handheld I can see it appends extra info, but the extra info is not consistent.
There seems to be no pattern to what works and what does not.
Example: BOX-FM-11 the data matrix prints correctly, BOX-FM-1 does not.
The label printer has current firmware installed.
Ideas?

You may want to try adjusting whether the printer or BarTender creates the DataMatrix image and see if that works, To do this
- Go into the Properties of the DataMatrix symbol
- Click on the Symbology and Size option in the left hand column
- On the new screen press the Print Method button
- Choose the middle option > Barcodes and text contorlled by BarTender
Hopefully that will get you up and running

Is there a global option. We are still using 2016 and this was not an issue until a few days ago.

I dont think so, but if that just started a few days ago and was working previously then that sounds like a software update of some kind has effected it. Has Windows updated recently on the PC?
