Email alerts through GMail SMTP

Hi,

I've been trying to set up email alerts through GMail's SMTP server but BarTender simply can't find it. I've unblocked the firewall ports and checked another thread from 2013 that had a similar issue. Any advice?

  Hi James, did you have any success with this? There doesn't seem to be a way to set TLS/SSL, I suspect this is the problem.

  Nowt yet Marko, though I haven't tried in a while. I agree, I don't think Bartender supports STARTTLS yet. Hoping it can in the near future!

  We're getting STARTTLS errors when trying to send emails from bartender Admin Console (Pro 2022)
  Trying to send via Office365 mail server
  I see only this thread when searching for STARTTLS in the forum... has this ever been resolved from the last post in this thread 5 years ago now?
