solved: Unwanted - Label length is cut differently
Hi everybody,
Since I changed our printer from Zebra GX420t to SATO CL408E our labels are cut in unwanted length.
To get in more details, our labels import data from csv files. At the bottom end of each labels is a text field placed which reads a data field from the csv files. This data sometimes is empty. When it's empty, the label printer cuts the label and shortens the label length by this text field.
This strange behaviour did not happen with the Zebra GX420t.
Can anybody help?

Btw, I know I could place a small dot as the last field at the label's bottom end, but this is a workaround only and the not the real solution for my problem.

Not sure as I haven't got a unit I can test with but I would suggest you check through the File>Print>Document Properties>Stock and Configure settings to check how the page and cutter are setup and see if that helps (media dimensions?),

I found the solution. The driver settings has the option "Set fixed document length for continuous label" which must be checked.
Never seen such an option in driver settings for label printers. Learned someting new.
