speed of filling print data into the spooler
Hello.
We are solving the problem of slow filling of print data into the spooler for Zebra printers.
The source print data (txt file) for integration is located on a separate server. One file contains data for one label.
The labels are located on the same print server as Bartender is installed.
The integration processes print data at an acceptable speed.
However, the spooler fills up more slowly than we need, with approximately one print job being created every second, which we can also see in the printer's print queue.
The print driver is from the list of drivers supported by Bartender.
Neither "Close at end of print job" nor "Save document at end of print job" is checked in the integration.
We use SQL Express.
Can you tell me:
- What could be causing such delays in filling the spooler?
- What happens after the data is processed by the integration (for filling the spooler)?
- Does the SQL type affect the speed of filling the spooler?
- Is the problem something else?
