Replacing today's date with letters
I am trying to convert the numbers from today's date in ddMMyy format to letters with the following translation: 0=N, 1=U, 2=M, 3=E, 4=R, 5=A, 6=L, 7=K, 8=O, 9=D. I can do this with Actions from the Search and Replace function, but I don't have that option when I choose clock as the data source.

Clock fields can only setup out in certain specific formats and so I would suggest dragging the Clock field off the side of the label, so it doesnt print, noting the Text field number as you do, and then add an Object Value field linked to the Clock text field and use either your Search and Replace or a VB scrip to edit the printed value the way you want it to be displayed

Thanks for the feedback, Peter. That is what I did and it worked, as long as someone does not move the clock field back into the printable area.

You could drag it way off to the side so it isnt visible, or maybe added it a locked none visible layer
