Unable to Provisionally Activate 2022 R8
We are migrating a production instance from 3 servers setup and running 2019 to 3 new ones using 2022 R8. These are for the app server, licensing server, and database server. I installed 2022 on the new app and lic server and am trying to provisionally activate on both of them then point to the new db server. Activation says I am trying to activate an older version but I am not. Shouldn't I be initially activating the app server pointing to the existing license on the 2019 license server? I am trying that but get the same messages.

You will only be able to provisionally activate it on one of the servers and for the others you would need to use the "search for existing licence" and connect these to the provisional licence that is already up and running.
