User Security Settings with Multiple Domains
I am in the process of installing Administration Console for BarTender 2022 Enterprise. The server is on our Infrastructure Domain and the users that will be using it is on our User Domain. There is a trust between the two domains.
The problem is when I am adding permissions and users in the Security Tab, it is only allowing me to add Groups and Users within the Infrastructure Domain. When I enabled it, it then immediately kicked me out and I am completely locked out. The Security Groups are bound between the two domains so regarding Windows Authentication, it works fine. Here? Not so much.
Do I need to move the servers onto the User Domain or is there a way to link Administration Console to a different domain?

I am facing the exact same issue except I'm using Bartender 2021 R3. Is there anyone who has a solution for this?Is it possible to search two different trusted domains for users or can Bartender only find users on the domain it is installed on?

So what I ended up doing is set up the permissions and security settings on a PC that was on the domain. Set it all up and got the Security Groups. I then exported those settings and imported them into the server that was on a separate domain. Worked great!
