KU-007 Plus Keyboard
I used to export a label template (with a data entry form) to a TTP-247 printer and access it via the KP-200 keyboard. So simple! But the need to incorporate a little more variable data, which I discovered the 'dumb' keyboard could not handle, drove me to purchase a KU-007 Plus keyboard, which I thought would be 'clever' enough to do the job.
Turns out it's me that's not clever enough. How does this beast work? Can it access a label template exported to the printer or does the template have to be exported directly to the keyboard via the PC's COM Port? There seems to be a dearth of basic user information about this subject, rather like a ladder with no bottom rungs.
The options, when exporting any PCT, are to direct the file to the USB port to which the printer is connected, or to a templates folder as a PRN file. Do I need to export the PrinterTemplate.prn file from this folder to the keyboard via the COM port or what?
BarTender merrily tells me each export was successful but the keyboard reports 'File Not Found', giving this message even when I have exported a BAS file to the printer by other means, verifying its presence using the Diagnostic Tool.
The general concept escapes me. Has anyone a hint or two?

It's best to contact TSC (the manufacturer of the printer) about this.
They showed us how to do it.

Thanks Kristof, I have unravelled most of the mysteries myself now, certainly regarding exporting working templates to the printer either to flash memory or via an SD card. I have discovered that the printer's own programming language, which is centred on an early version of Microsoft Basic, is reasonably potent and allows quite clever templates to be created and operated using the simple KP-200 keyboard - templates which would be too sophisticated to export from a low end edition of BarTender.
For me, help from TSC was inconclusive, but as they got you guys up and running perhaps it was just me being dim!
