Printing In Aisle And Section Sequence?
Our current label software has the capability to pull in the entire label file (CSV text file) and then print the labels in order of the fields for "aisle number" and then "aisle section".
So the labels would come out in order of number/section as 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, 2C, 3B, etc.
At what point in Bartender would this be setup to do a similar printing order?
EDIT:
This is similar to a question I posted last May about sorting by CSV file. Is the only alternative still to get the CSV into some kind of database and sort from that?

That was pointed out before. You do not have that option when importing from a text file.
It was suggested to setup an ODBC connection to the CSV file and import from there, but that started up a whole different set of issues on our server.
I'm surprised at why this seems so difficult with Bartender when both of the earlier label packages we were using had this ability (even the original DOS based packages). I guess I'm going to have to find or create some kind of file sorting utility that will pre-process the label file before handing them off to Bartender.

Ahhhh I see. I guess at this point your only option is to alter whatever is generating the text file so that it is generated in the correct order. I would also suggest you add a post in the feature request forum.
