Question About Warning 3707 (Printer Does Not Support Page Size)
Hi,
I have a virtual W7 64b-machine with Bartender Automation on it. I'm testing a commando that I'm going to use in a script which will run when we deploy a new pc (with MDT).
First scenario :
1) I open a DOS-box on the bartender-pc
2) I launch this commando : "c:\Bartender\Scripts>C:\"Program Files (x86)"\Seagull\"BarTender Suite"\bartend.exe /AF=C:\Bartender\Layout\SMALL_LABEL_80_20MM.BTW /D=C:\Bartender\Database\pcname.db /P /X /C=1
3) Result : pop-up window showing me error 3707
Second scenario:
1) I start the application (with a default template)
2) the first DOS-box is still open
3) I launch this commando :
"c:\Bartender\Scripts>C:\"Program Files (x86)"\Seagull\"BarTender Suite"\bartend.exe /AF=C:\Bartender\Layout \SMALL_LABEL_80_20MM.BTW /D=C:\Bartender\Database\pcname.db /P /X /C=1
3) I see my label appearing in the application
4) Result : error 3707
5) I leave the application open, with my label visible
Third scenario:
0) so this application is still open, with the label visible !
1) the first DOS-box is still open
2) I launch this commando : "c:\Bartender\Scripts>C:\"Program Files (x86)"\Seagull\"BarTender Suite"\bartend.exe /AF=C:\Bartender\Layout\SMALL_LABEL_80_20MM.BTW /D=C:\Bartender\Database\pcname.db /P /X /C=1
3) it gets printed !!!!!!!!
My conclusion : the problem is not the page size, the problem is that the page size is not loaded when the application is called to print the label. It's like the application tries to print too quick, before the correct page size was loaded. Well, that's my impression anyway.
Any idea how to fix this behaviour?

The 3707 message is a warning message, not an error, so it's safe to suppress that. Go into the Administer menu, than Application Message setup. Select 3707, than uncheck the 'Dialog (Interactive Use Only)' box on the bottom right. That will stop the message from popping up. 0 -
I must admit that I forgot to mention that the label gets printed in the several scenario's I described when clicked on automatically adjust. But then the label is wrongly positioned on the ticket. So suppressing the warning is no solution, because the position still is wrong.

In this case, you would need to do a proper calibration of the printer's sensors and a proper page size configuration. This way you can warranty that the label will be positioned correctly when being printed.
