Printing With Script In Paragraph

Hello,

 

We just started using Bartender. There is one format that gives issues with printing color of the images. There are 2 images present on the label. 1 is red, the other is black/red.

 

Whenever a VB-script is printed in paragraphs, instead of 1 line, the color of the images disappears. When we make the text of that paragraph red, it is printed in red, but the images still are black only.

On other format labels this works OK . We already created the label again from scratch, but to no avail. Even deleting the text/scriptbox and  copying the script from another label, breaks this label.

 

- Text in line or paragraphs: Images are colored

- VB-Script in line: Images are colored

- VB-Script in paragraph: Images lost color

 

The script is nothing more than the following:

Value1 = Field("ADDRESS_1_A")

Value2 = Field("ADDRESS_2_B")

 

Value = Value1& vbCrLf & Value2

------------

 

Bartender version 9.4 SP3

Windows 7

  Do you mean text font color is turned to black when VB Script is used, or picture's color is lost when VB script is used?

   

  Anyway, you would not need VB script for that - add 2 more sub-strings (data sources) in the text, then 

  1st substring: database field ADDRESS_1_A

  2nd substring: <<CR>><<LF>> (enter from small triangle at right)

   

  3rd substring: database field ADDRESS_2_B

   

  You could attach the format from More reply options below too.

  Thanks for your reply. A collegue from another location had this issue officially looked into by Seagull Support this morning. Hopefully we have an answer soon, as your answer did not give a clear, working solution.
