Printing To Pdf Printer From C#/vb.net App Via Bartender Sdk

Since the current Bartender (V 10.1 SR2) doesn't support printing to PDF, I have resorted to generating the PDF using PDF Printer  such as Bullzip PDF Printer.

 

I was able to generate/print the label in PDF when I make the changes manually directly in BarTender label file (.btw).

After adjusting the printer (from the original printer to Bullzip PDF Printer) and the corresponding paper-size (margins too if necessary) I would save the .btw with a new name (I need to preserve the original .btw label). Then I was able to generate/print PDF from the new .btw label 

 

But this is not a good solution because it requires somebody or the user to manually modify the label .btw file in order to create a PDF output of the label.

I'm trying to automate the generation of the label's PDF from our application through calls to BarTender SDK. 

 

This is my problem because when I make these changes not in BarTender but through BarTender SDK programmatically from a  C#.NET app, the resulting PDF always ended up with the size A4 instead of the size of the label.

 

In a nutshell what I'm trying to do is to change the printer (with which the label was originally created in BarTender stored in .btw file) to Bullzip PDF Printer, change the page-sze, etc per BarTender SDK to get PDF output of the label that has the same size as the label.

 

Has anyone encountered similar problem or issue as mine in generating/printing the label to PDF Printer programmatically from a C#/VB.NET app?

I would appreciate any tip or help.

  Hi Opal_Indy,

  I am facing similar issue. I am not even able to print PDf correctly from my local machine itself.

  I have tried several PDf printers but nothing working. When i contacted tech suport, they said they won't be able to help in code and to refer samples.

  Does anyone have some working code of PDF Printing? I can print locally but not through the SDK.

  Ended up using BullZip as the printer and it worked just fine, could get PDFForge PDFCreator to work.
