Printing Multiple Copys Of Same Label

If you're specifying a single label and telling the printer to print 150 copies, BarTender sends the label information to the printer as a single print, just telling the printer to continue to print 150 times the same data.  Now when sending data from a database, since the data is different for every label, you're actually outputting 150 labels worth of unique information to the driver.  Since the printer doesn't have enough memory to completely spool the data ahead of time, the job will stay in the spooler until all of the jobs were received by the printer.  You can sometimes mitigate that from inside of BarTender by selecting File>Print then 'Performance' and enabling whichever of the printer optimizations aren't turned on, as well as using printer fonts instead of windows fonts to minimize the size of the printer code.

    ok, that makes sense.

But is this also the case when I only chose 1 specific record in the database and print the record 150 times?

I would like to revive this topic.

Is there a way to use a commander script so that it sends one print to a BTW file, and then inside the BTW file you can have it set a particular template to print a set number of copies based on a field in the data?  I'm not sure if I'm explaining that correctly.  I'm just looking for a way to use commander so that it prints a set number of copies to the printer, and not individual "pages".  We would like to be able to clear the job out of the printer queue on the computer as quickly as possible.
