Printing The Automatic Number Of Stickers Stated In Excel Cell.
Dear friends,
even before I start the topic, I would like to apologize that I am very novice
about bartender software. I don’t have much programming knowledge. So please
pardon me if I ask something stupid. :wacko: :blink: :P
The version we are using for printing stickers is bartender
is 10.0 profession one (in demo mode and if we can get the solution for this
problem we will purchase the software)
We are currently working on an inventory system and we want
to put barcode on every single product. But from the list I get in excel file
(that I connected as a database source with the barcode) there are some product
that are more than 1. So I have to print that row manually. For example if we
have 10 same products I have to print 10 copies from that filed. There is a
field in the excel file that actually says the actual number of product. The number of product is going up every day
and it’s so annoying to select the row manually for printing that amount of
copies.
So I was thinking is there any solution for this problem. How do I print automatically the same number
of sticker that is stated in a cell of excel and the printing continues to the next cell? (example: if one data says 3 it print 3 stickers automatically and then print the next cell if it says 2 it prints 2 times and so on )
I went through the other posts already but could not find the solution. If
there is any previous post regarding this problem you can simply refer me to
the older post.

You will need to data source the number of copies in BarTender. In order to do this, select the "File > Print" dialog in BarTender once your BarTender document (.btw) has been opened. Now press on the small square button which is on the same line as the "Copies" field. Choose now "Get quantity from Database Field" and choose the field of your Excel spread sheet which contains the number of copies to be printed for each record.

having read the above...what do I do if the QTY printed isn't being updated to different quantities as it enumerates though the XLS?
ie: the first QTY print value = 2...so ALL the labels to be printed are printed in lots of 2 rather than say 3 or 5 labels of subsequent tuple content
